At The Chapter Room, we aim to provide quality pre-loved books and a smooth shopping experience.
Return Window We have a 7-day return policy. You must request a return within 7 days of receiving your order.
Eligible for Returns We accept returns for both defective and non-defective products, including:
- Damaged or defective book received
- Wrong item received
- Book condition does not match what was described on the product page
- Change of mind (non-defective returns accepted within 7 days)
To be eligible: item must be in same condition as received, proof (images/videos) required for defective returns, valid order confirmation required.
Not Eligible for Returns
- Minor wear and tear clearly described in the listing
- Markings or yellowing noted in the condition description
- Items returned after 7 days of delivery
Exchanges We accept exchanges within 7 days. Contact shop@thechapterroom.in with your order ID and the title you want to exchange for. Subject to stock availability.
How to Request Email shop@thechapterroom.in with your Order ID, reason for return, and images if defective. Returns without prior approval will not be accepted.

Refunds Full refund processed to original payment method within 7 business days of receiving the return.
